Whitefish Chain Antique and Classic Wood Boat Rendezvous on Saturday the 27th!

The antique boat show started out twenty-five years ago as a simple gathering of twelve or less owners/skippers who shared a love for these antique and classic boats. Over the years this gathering of boat lovers has grown to become a special community event in our small town. In 2012 there were over seventy "skippers" sharing their beautiful boats with the public. Approximately 12,000 viewers attended!!

Why do people come to see a show of old boats? Well, we think it brings back memories of one’s own past when maybe YOU had one of these boats. The workmanship is incredible and admission is free! So head to Moonlight Bay Restaurant this Saturday…the show begins at 9:00 AM with the awards being handed out at 3:00 PM. The famous “Fly By” starts an hour later, so be sure to join in on all of the fun at the Whitefish Chain Antique and Classic Wood Boat Rendezvous this Saturday in beautiful Crosslake!
